How do I participate
in your events?
Our game server is accessible from ANYWHERE on campus,
even the dorms! You can use your own equipment in the comfort
of your own dorm room.
In order to fully participate in our events, you will need a
copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, 2004, or FSX. If you
do not have a copy of Flight Simulator you may use the Flight
Sim Lab in ER116.
Connecting with FS 2002 - 2004:
After starting up Flight Sim, go into your "Multiplayer" settings
and connect to our game IP address found on our events
page. Please read the connection details on the event page.
To take advantage of our LIVE ATC SERVICES, you will also need
the Team Speak client and either
a computer headset or a mic and speakers. The Team Speak client
and setup instructions may be found here.
Connecting with FSX:
FSX users need to have the FSHost Client
running throughout the duration of the session. The FSHost Client
allows FSX to properly communicate with our flight server. After
connecting to the server using the FSHost Client, run FSX just
like you are flying a single player session. DO NOT TRY TO CONNECT
USING THE MULTI-PLAYER OPTIONS. This will not work. The FSHost
Client handles the server connection. Please read the connection
details on our event page. To take
advantage of our LIVE ATC SERVICES, you will also need the Team
Speak client and either a computer headset or a mic and
speakers. The Team Speak client and setup instructions may be
found here.
I am interested in becoming
an Air Traffic Controller for your events. How can I do that?
